I got a chance to speak briefly with Nicole Kidman for her latest film, Destroyer, and a teaser about Big Little Lies’ second season. When she talks about supporting women in film, she is at her most focused and enthusiastic, which is great to see. Here she is before coming to our print section of the red carpet.

For a feature in which we go over key scenes from each episode of season one of The Good Doctor, star Freddie Highmore provided illuminating background detail into the filming process and his insight into how he approached he moment.

Erika Girardi is smart, down-to-earth, and more than ready to admit that Erika Jayne is her on-air personality. She came through Sydney to promote Hayu, an all-reality online streaming service. Her interview will appear later in Who, but she was happy to take snap.

Kids got a chance to meet Gru, Dru and a host of Minions, plus eat banana-flavoured ice cream pops, at the Despicable Me 3 premiere. Here, Kevin and Stuart welcome the crowd.

This was all at the lovely State Theatre, which is where I saw Bonnie Raitt and Rhiannon Giddens in April.

Stan, the streaming service that airs Showtime's Twin Peaks in Australia, sent me this wonderful ice-cream, black cherry-inspired pie. Damn good promotion!

It's a rare night out for me and Matt, and although we are aware of the controversy surrounding the casting of Ghost in the Shell, we went into the film with open minds and enjoyed it for the final product.

To think Cara Leggett and I met while folding sweaters at the Express back in college! Now we both live and work in Sydney and often our lives intersect in the best of ways. In this case, Cara is part of Disney publicity and handling Rogue One, and I am covering the film's premiere for Who. 

Nicholas Fonseca took this snap of me speaking to Isla Fisher, who won the 2016 Trailblazer Award at the AACTAs. That's her husband Sacha Baron Cohen to her right. I would later talk to Isla by phone about her series of children's books.

Here is a look behind the scenes at the media room in the Star Event Centre in Sydney as the members of Crowded House take questions after being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. ABC Radio anchor Robbie Buck moderated questions. 

Karl Urban, the star of many convention-worthy films and TV shows, agreed to an on-the-floor social post for Who Magazine. He was good natured and eager to answer many fan Q&A questions. He certainly knows his audience!

Not a day back full-time at WHO Magazine's Eveleigh office and I get to have a photo taken with The Bachelor Australia's fourth main man, Richie Strahan. He said he takes the best selfies, so here is his one with me.

After covering Survivor in the US, I was not expecting to resume the beat in Australia, but Network Ten got down to the ambitious task of relaunching the series here with a cast of 24 and 55 days of action. At the centre of if is host Jonathan LaPaglia, an actor for whom this would be his first reality TV gig. Needless to say, he did great, and he has an affable charm and ease.

Theon Greyjoy is neither arrogant nor tortured in real life! I interviewed Alfie Allen of Game of Thrones for Who Magazine and after our chat, seeing how happy I and the publicists were at meeting each other after months of communicating via email, he suggested a photo was in order. This was taken by Showcase rep Vanessa Hollins.

After writing about the Netflix series Making a Murderer for WHO Magazine, I got a chance to meet filmmakers Laura Ricciardi (far right) and Moira Demos at this public talk, hosted by Charlie Pickering.

Seeing the great Conchita Wurst in concert was amazing. The 2014 Eurovision winner was in fine form and voice. In the middle of her show, she introduced Dami Im as Australia's entrant in this year's Eurovision. There was a post-show cocktail gathering with Conchita and Dami.

I rule.

So here he is, making his way down the carpet! I am with two other print reporters at the far end, right before the dash into the theater. Brad Pitt did stop to speak to us, however. Although her and her fiancé's flat may be small, My Kitchen Rules contestant Anna Lisle accommodated the Who crew with a welcome openness. She and Andrew Turner had a blast while talking about their wedding plans and showing off their Victorian terrace home.
